About Me
I have 7 years experience working with clients across the private and public sectors, helping them deal with issues related to trauma, end of life care, baby-loss/bereavement, workplace stress and anxiety. I also have experience of working with clients in Voluntary sectors and NHS Primary Care (iapt) Service.

I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Humanistic Counselling, Diploma in the Art and Science of Neuro Linguistic Programming (INLPTA), Training in Compassion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I incorporate at least 30 hours Continuous Professional Development into my annual timetable as I seek to improve the services I offer clients.

I am currently working towards - Complex Trauma Certification Training Level 1 & 2 (CCTP/CCTP-II)

I worked for Local Authority as a Trainer and as a Lecturer for a Further Education College for over 20 years. The transferable skills I learnt from those experiences have supported me in the transition to becoming a counsellor. I relate very well with people and understand conditions that can cause stress in the workplace and the struggles of everyday life in society.
